How to get an Alcohol License for a Convenience & Grocery Store


Convenience Store License: An establishment which has an enclosed room in a permanent structure where stock is displayed and offered for sale, and which sells edible items intended for human consumption, consisting of a variety of such items of the type normally sold in grocery stores:  (this would be like an office building that has a store within the building, the licensee must have wine and beer license (beer only doesn't exist.) Licensee must keep an inventory of 2k and monthly sales of 2k are required. These are rare license types.

Grocery Store License: An establishment that sells edible items intended for human consumption, including a variety of staple foodstuffs used in the preparation of meals.  Wine and Beer Licensee must keep an inventory of 2k and monthly sales of 2k if Beer Only must keep an inventory of 1k and monthly sales of 1k. These are our most common license types for grocery stores and what we know as convenience stores/gas stations.
